Runway ml Gen-2 Film - Text-to-Video / Terror from the Earth / 1950s Sci-Fi Homage

Описание: Using the newly released to the public (that's me) Runway ml Gen2 text-to-video I've made a 1950s b-movie sci-fi homage keeping all the very peculiar AI elements intact so we can look back in awe at how fantastic, yet weird, this period of AI is.

In this particular instance of Runway ml Gen2 I decided not to interpolate, nor upscale, nor lock prompts of each generated video. This gives me a reference point to go back to of Gen2 at its most basic. And it fits the old 1950s film look.

The prompts were very basic with a 2/10 not able to be used, and some I've just thrown in anyway. It can get pricey with the trial and error of generation. Hopefully Runway ml move away from cost per generation without a preview.

All in all though now I've used it, it's a lot more interesting than I first thought for plotting a story together. With the variety of AI products available it will be interesting if Runway start to incorporate this into their offering. From this starting point things look incredibly bright for the future of AI filmmaking.

One final point, the thumbnail was produced using Midjourney AI. However it was a square image so I used Photoshop Beta generative fill to expand the areas to each side. Finished off with text in Canva. Photoshops generative fill works really really well.
