DIY: How to make a dress without a pattern. Sewing a dress with a half-circle flounce.

I’ve already showed you 3 dresses made using one and the same pattern.
Today we are going to make one more dress using this pattern.
This is going to be a dress with a deep neckline, half-circle flounce and lace details on the shoulders.
Such flounces suit different types of bodies.
The details on the sleeves can be of any form. You can also decorate the necklines with the lace.
The technique is absolutely amazing! Make a pattern on a piece of tracing paper and make many different dresses on its basis.
The best thing about this technique is that you don’t need to insert sleeves.=
The width, the shape and the length of the lace details depends on a size of a piece of lace you have.
You do not necessarily have to make these details of lace. You can make them of different fabric.
Use your imagination!
I want you to learn to work with lace.
When I tack the lace details, I’ll start tacking the side and the shoulder seams.
The length of the flounce will be 30cm.
When I cut the flounce, I’ll show you how it looks like.
Sometimes a quarter-circle flounce is enough. Sometimes it’s better to make a circle flounce.
It takes just a couple of minutes to make such flounce.
Don’t hurry. Be accurate and attentive!
You’ll be so happy when you learn to use one pattern for different designs.
The most important thing is that even though the dresses will be made on the basis of the same pattern, they will be absolutely different.
The best thing about this technique is that you don’t need to calculate of measure anything.
