Описание: Part 7 of our April Japan trip. Walked around central #kokura seeing the #kokuracastle, and the #kokuracastlegardens. The #kitakyushuriverwalk building was striking with it's contemporary architecture. We took the #shinkansen to #fukuyama and were happy to discover the #fukuyamacastle just across from the station. We took local trains to #kurashiki and found a delightful historical home of wealthy merchant the #ohashihouse, which is a masterpiece of #wabisabi, in its understated beauty and design. After the rain let up, we explored the town of #kurashiki, with it's delightful shops, temples and #meijiera classic buildings. The rain gave a reflective wet sheen to everything. I enjoyed a night walk through the narrow maze of streets, the lights reflecting on the wet streets and in the water providing a wonderful, effect. It was a full single day.
