On April 18, 2013, Oliver Stone gave a free, public appearance at Rollins College inside the Alfond Sports Center. He is a very controversial figure, but he is best known for directing such movies as "Platoon," "Natural Born Killers," "Born on the 4th of July," "JFK," "W," "Heaven and Earth," etc. He also happened to direct my FAVORITE movie of all time, "Alexander," (2004) which was a biopic about the legendary conqueror, Alexander the Great.
It was such an honor meeting the man who made my favorite movie of all time. And it was an extra honor meeting someone who was equally passionate about the history of Alexander the Great.
The event was called "An Evening with Oliver Stone."
