📖 Day 5 of Daily Bible Reading & Reflection
Job 1–2 introduces a righteous man whose faith is tested through sudden loss and deep suffering.
From the beginning, Scripture makes something clear: Job’s suffering is not punishment. His integrity is affirmed before any hardship begins. As the story unfolds, we see that even unseen spiritual conflict operates within limits. Testing is permitted—but it is bounded. Nothing unfolds outside divine authority.
These chapters remind us that faithfulness is possible even without answers. Grief and worship can exist together. Suffering does not automatically mean guilt, and God’s purposes may extend beyond what we can see. They call us to trust His character when explanations are absent.
