Hi everyone!
In this tutorial, I would like to tell you something about floats and how we can use floats to shade with acrylics.
First of all, there are different ways to float color: some people use a flat brush, some people use an angular brush... some people use a mop brush, some people don't...
So, there's not a technique that's the best! That's really personal.
I have tried different methods over the years, so in this tutorial I want to show you what works best for me, in case you want to try.
However, there are some things that we always need to keep in mind regardless of the method that we decide to use. For this reason I decided to split this video in two sections: theory and practice.
This is probably a long tutorial, but there are many things to say when it comes to floating... and I am going to tell you all the most important things I know to help you having better floats and shading!

Loew Cornell Maxine's Mop
