Hitchhiking Travel in the Balkans for Free

Описание: Me and my friend Stefan decided to hitchhike and backpack from Germany all the way to Macedonia! Over 11 days, we traveled through Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, and finally reached our destination in Macedonia.

We worked a seasonal job in Burger King in Germany and after a month of routine (only sleeping and working) we craved adventure and decided to get back home by hitchhiking. So without any big plans we just packed our bags and started our adventure of a lifetime.

One of the best parts of our adventure was the kindness of strangers and how we relied on the kindness of strangers From sharing meals to hanging out to discovering abandoned places and much more, the people we met along the way made our travel unforgettable.

Our friends also played a crucial role in our adventure. Without their help, our trip wouldn't have been possible.

Crossing into Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo, we were amazed by the diversity of cultures and landscapes that the Balkan has to offer.

Arriving in Macedonia was a moment of triumph for us. We had faced challenges and difficulties, but we made it to our destination all safe and healthy and also we travelled on low budget over 1800km.
