Delhi Police Busts Lashkar-Linked Poster Module; Eight Held Including Seven Bangladeshi Nationals

Описание: A total of eight persons have been arrested, including seven Bangladeshi nationals, for allegedly pasting anti-national posters in Delhi and Kolkata during the AI Summit. Delhi Police said the module was handled by Lashkar operatives based in Bangladesh and a major operation was averted. The identities were established through web camera footage near metro stations. Police said the accused were in touch with Lashkar handlers, had rented accommodation in Kolkata, and were earlier living in Tamil Nadu before being called for meetings. One accused, Umar Farooq, is a resident of Malda.
