Pretty much one of the best boss themes ever, hands down.
Inside the Barren Temple, the party is trying to locate the prince of Facade - a strange city in the desert that is governed by thousands of rules. The king has died from the black scrawl already, so the prince is needed for leadership; however, he has gone missing inside the Barren Temple and the only ones who are "allowed" to save him are the party. The boss guarding him turns out to be a large magical being made completely of regenerating cubes that can shoot magic blasts in all directions. After the boss is defeated, the prince is set free, and proceeds to immediately make a direct reference to Zelda.
