WHAT BEGAN AS A PLANNED 14-DAY 🎣 HOOKING THEN COOKING 🍳 RAINBOW TROUT ESCAPADE EVOLVED INTO AN EXTREME 15 NIGHT INSANE CHALLENGE THAT SAW US EXPLORE HIDDEN LAKES, CASCADING WATERFALLS AND AMAZING MOUNTAINS WITH THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. THE CRAZY HIGH ALTITUDE QUEST INCLUDED FRESHWATER FISHING, SURVIVAL CHALLENGES AND FISHERY NETTING MANY A MEAL WITH NO OUTBACK RESUPPLY.

THE FISHERMAN JOURNEY UNFOLDS
Our solo trouting and climbing adventures unfolded with secret alpine waters, tough mountain passes and history making river crossings. Most sunrises brought the promise of thick & delicious catch n' cook wild fish from a pristine untamed lake. Ollie, my miracle Australian Shepherd, was not just a backpacker companion but a big part of this unbelievable venture, making all our trail moments special. 🐾

CINEMATIC PARADISE IN 4K 🎥
Filmed in award winning Ultra HD, the great outdoors scenery unfurled like a frontier masterpiece, capturing the essence of my fisherman's life. The top quality photography added depth to our backwoods odyssey, accentuating the rugged beauty of the remote massive sierra and their vibrant colors. Six time lapses punctuated our epic pursuit, offering a unique perspective of the changing stunning landscapes and the dance of light and shadow.

LIFE'S LABYRINTHS
With our packs filled with not quite a 14 day supply of exploration rations, our hungry bodies depended on successful catching golden, brook and rainbows for food. The weight of our backpacks was biggest test, laden with the extra burden of trip provisions necessary for our extended outing in the woods.

HINTERLAND CAMP TALES
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow on our fun tarn campsites, we enjoyed nice sparkling creeks, breathtaking pinnacles, and the prettiest surroundings. The primitive forest echoed with tales of the day's triumphs, and the aroma of perfectly "cooked" eats filled the air.

UNEXPECTED CONUNDRUM
Our mystery trek extended beyond the planned, exploring so far into the world's best backcountry that it took us added days to hike out. The unexpected twists only added to the richness of this experience, turning our alone in the far reaches backpacking into a saga of resilience and secrets discovered.
