Описание: The water level of Ganga river in Varanasi was seen rising rapidly towards the danger mark. The distance remained only a few centimeters. The water level of the river has already crossed the warning level. It was seen flowing far above the warning level. And because of that all the ghats there sank. 84 out of 84 ferries sank. Got into the water. After this, the areas along the ghats were also flooded. Houses there were submerged. Roads were submerged. The situation became such that people had to vacate their houses. Had to live in relief camps.

वाराणसी में गंगा नदी का जलस्तर तेज़ी से ख़तरे के निशान की तरफ़ बढ़ता दिखा। फासला कुछ ही सेंटीमीटर का रह गया। नदी का जलस्तर पहले ही चेतावनी के लेवल को पार कर चुका है। वो चेतावनी वाले लेवल से बहुत ऊपर बहती दिखी। और उसकी वजह से वहां के सारे घाट डूब गए। 84 के 84 घाट डूब गए। पानी में समा गए। इसके बाद घाटों के किनारे मौजूद इलाक़ों में भी पानी भर गया। वहां मकान डूब गए। सड़कें डूब गईं। हालात ऐसे हो गए कि लोगों को अपने मकान ख़ाली करने पड़े। राहत कैंपों में रहना पड़ा।
