Planer fishing is one of the most effective way to target Wahoo. There's just one problem. I haven't been able to catch one yet! Live baiting remains my true passion, but I have really come to enjoy playing around with the planers recently. In this video, I enjoyed a day on the water with my youngest son, Brayden, in hopes of catching our first wahoo on a planer. It just so happened that exactly one year prior, Brayden caught a wahoo pushing 45 pounds while we were kite fishing. Would this be the lucky day on the planer??
