First, revise your expectations. A good rule of thumb is "10x the efforts". I explain it well in the video.

Secondly, you have to completely and fully commit to whatever piece of materials you've chosen. It can be a tune, a chord progression, a lick or a scale. Just make sure you stick to it for longer enough to make significant progress. Think 80/20.

And of course, do this: AAAAA ... BBBB ... CCCCCC ... etc

And not this: ABC... BAC ... ADCD ... ECB ... A etc.

Commit to mastering "A" at least at 80% proficiency before moving on. And consider everything else a distraction.
