A senior official from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has said there is no shortage of petrol and diesel in the country and crude oil supplies remain stable. However, the official noted that LPG supply remains an area of concern amid the ongoing West Asia crisis, though no “dry out” situation has been reported so far. The government is closely monitoring the fuel supply situation and taking steps to ensure uninterrupted availability across the country. The reassurance comes at a time when concerns over cooking gas supplies have risen due to global tensions and disruptions in energy routes. Authorities have also urged people not to panic or rush to book LPG cylinders, emphasising that supply chains are being managed to avoid any major disruption.
