Bugs 2 - Fast and Low 5.8ghz FPV - AKK A3 AIO (25% OFF code)

Описание: After about 12 flights on the Bugs 2 I was fairly comfy with how it handled wind and moving at pace so I decided to see how fast it would go and get in some tree slalom while I was at it.
The height holding doesn't really get in the way for faster cruising but it does give you a little less feedback and response than say the Bugs 3 throttle even on the same 2s lipo when cruising at full speed. There's also a just a little too much springiness just off centre cyclic which can make it a little tricky to do slow 180 turns while banking and not produce a slight bobble as the self level takes over and then releases as you add more cyclic. It's far superior to a Hubsan H501S here which I feel are generally some of the worst flyers out there in this price range but again, it's still not quite the smooth experience of the Bugs 3 and pitch is slightly more limited too.
I feel like a broken record sometimes but the ability to turn self level off would transform the flying experience if it was permitted. Why is it not allowed even if unlocked by software or having to hit 50 flights first or something? Software restriction when the hardware is decent frustrates me. Time to take them both out together and have a Bugs off :)

There's also a cheaper Bugs 2C that has no wifi FPV capability, i's probably a better option if like me you feel this quad needs 5.8ghz FPV gear adding.

The AKK A3 switchable cam/vtx I used. It was £13 but currently only that cheap if you are buying 2 of them. Sales change often though so worth keeping an eye on to get the best deal.

The goggles I am using are Eachine VRD2 and really growing on me for how light and compact they are with excellent diversity performance, range and integrated DVR. They can also output a 4:3 or 16:9 DVR recording which my Quannum v2 with separate DVR cannot and I can watch the video back on the goggles should I need to find out where I crashed.
