20-21st Aug' '23. An overnight wild camp in the sand dunes of Harlech in north west Wales.
A planned stealth camp right under the noses of many beach going day trippers was amended to accommodate a heavy wind which whipped up loose sand in to a mini sand storm. I was forced to pitch camp behind the dunes to get a bit of protection from the near gale and skin stinging sand grains.
