VEHICLE’S DYNAMIC
The dynamic of the vehicle is taken into consideration when using platforms: dynamic behavior of the vehicle is the real behavior of the vehicle in the road, so the tests done with platforms are real while on rollers we make a simulation. Inertia is taken into consideration, movement of the mass from rear to front axle. Brake force to stop a vehicle has to be bigger on platforms because of the dynamic of the vehicle and the real conditions of the test, the mass of the vehicle moves generating an inertia which gives a result like it is in real road condition: in fact, weight of the front axle increases while the rear axle one decreases
