an interesting way to watermark audio

hide your logo in your song without it sounding bad
to clarify, this isn't just throwing a spectral image into your sound (like aphex twin, c418, mick gordon, etc), its about carving it out with spectral sidechain compression.
this technique also embeds it within the mono channel, such that you can't see it just by importing the stereo signal, you have to merge it to mono first and then it'll appear.
if you're worried about mono compatibility, you can just swap mid/side before and after the effect chain to apply the watermark to side instead of mono, making it so that to see the watermark, you'll have to flip one channel then merge to mono to see it
*and if you're reeeeallly really worried about it sounding weird*, its up to you where to put it. put it in a place where a weird sound won't feel too out of place, like an ambience or reverb tail or some really wacky sound.
