Even in winter, the Hongxing Village Farmers' Market remains bustling with energy. Carrying that lingering warmth of everyday life, I walked through Huilong Bay and entered Xiaoshi Street. Climbing up from Wufu Street to Shuijingkan, I looked down at the urban area not far below—a skyline of high and low buildings bearing witness to Luzhou’s changing eras.

Descending the steps, I passed Shangmatou, Zhongmatou, and Hengzi Street, then turned into Lingzi Street. Despite large-scale demolition and construction fencing, one can still trace the outlines of its former prosperity. Gazing at the dilapidated old houses now overgrown with grass, I imagined the lives once lived happily within them.

Moving through this fading landscape, I entered Baolian Street. No longer inhabited, the street now surrenders to nature—plants grow freely between buildings, silence hangs in the air, broken only by the sound of footsteps or an occasional motorbike passing over the bluestone pavement. Here lies the memory of a generation—a memory that time, slowly but surely, is beginning to erase.
