Earlier this year I started playing duduk, which is a 3000 year old traditional Armenian double reed instrument. Its a very emotional and smooth sounding instrument with a lot of history. I highly recommend checking more duduk music if you're interested. A quick search for Gevorg Dabaghyan is a great place to start, but theres quite a few amazing players, I'm only just scratching the surface here!
