Jesse is trying to find her long-lost brother. She traces him to a secretive government organization, the Federal Bureau of Control. Jesse arrives to the Bureau just as it's invaded by a mysterious, hostile force called the Hiss. She finds herself in the role of the Bureau's Director, and now imbued with supernatural, telekinetic abilities, she has to fight the Hiss, find her brother, and take back control.
