Thank you for tuning into PANR in Partnership. In the previous installment, we rested through the night. In the morning, we found tracks of some sort outside our door. We encountered a mechman, who claims to have information regarding the materials we're searching for. If we can repair the turbine, he may help us. You consider your options and have dictated your next move. And so, this week's episode begins.


After listening to this mechman's request, you ask where the roof access is. The mechman passes you, and heads for the door. Beckoning you to follow. You do, and he leads you to a small ally between his building and the next. There, you see a metal ladder that leads above. The mechman returns inside following this. Being left alone, you think to fill your water before climbing. This could be a difficult repair, after all. So you go to the well. It's rotting bark cover is easily moved, but you see something most peculiar. The well has a wooden ladder going far into the earth. You see no water below, but there is a light. You replace the cover, but keep the well in your mind. Heading back to the ladder to the turbine, you climb up above. Gazing out over the wasteland. You see a few standing poles, ones you may have hiked to. They are as bare as the first. This disheartens you, but you know you can get more information from the mechman. The only other thing for all the distance you can see is a hill, with wooden supports maintaining an opening in one side. A cave, perhaps. You keep this in your mind and look to the turbine. When you set out, it was in relation to the lines, so you had thought to bring your safety equipment. Dawning this things first gives you a sense of safety. You begin to look into the turbine. It is a unique set up. Done by someone who knew how electricity worked, but never worked with it. Despite this, the design ought to work. You decide to go higher. Perhaps the issue is with the fans. As you reach the top, the issue is clear. There is a wire, running out from the top down to the ground. Originally, you thought this was a safety precaution to ground it if anything went wrong, but it seems to be something else. You think back to the well, and wonder if these two things are connected.

Ands so, your goals are fulfilled. You've learned quite a lot, and have many leads to go off of. The question is, how do you manage this. For things here, if done improperly could see dreadful consequences.
