Описание: The Knights Templar didn’t just build castles in Portugal — they built a system.

In this video, we trace a connected chain of fortresses and towers across central Portugal: hilltop strongholds watching valleys, river towers controlling crossings, and a legendary castle rising from a granite island in the middle of the Tagus (Tejo).

Over two days, we follow the trail from Penela and Soure, to Pombal, the riverside village of Dornes, and the unforgettable crossing to Almourol — before finishing at Quinta da Cardiga, where Templar history later evolved under the Order of Christ.
