In this video, Jon breaks down his CQB-focused SBR setup, built around a 10.5” Aero Precision SBR designed for speed, control, and reliability in close-quarters environments.
This rifle features a SIG Romeo 5 red dot mounted on the GBRS Group Lerna mount, providing a fast, heads-up shooting posture ideal for CQB. For white light, Jon runs a Modlite weapon light, paired with a Flatline Fiber Co sling for solid weapon retention and mobility. The setup is finished with a SureFire RC2 suppressor, helping reduce signature while maintaining shootability in confined spaces.
Jon is also testing a SOMO Gear PEQ-15 strictly for durability, focusing on how it holds up to recoil, handling, and real-world use. This is not a hype or endorsement video—just an honest look at how the unit performs when actually run on a working SBR.
The video covers component choices, ergonomics, balance, and why this setup makes sense for CQB-focused use.
Anytime. Any Terrain. Any Mission.
