I make some really bad mistakes at the start. Getting hit 3-4 times made me quick to anger. Then my timing was off on defeating the enemies on the vehicles. I get hit more as I continue toward the boss and when I finally make it to the boss I get hit once before finishing it off. It was just a sloppy run.
