This is what you are going to learn today. In our workbook, we are going to create a button. When we click on that button the next rows will be hidden. If we click on that button again it will hide the next rows. We are going to use vba code for this advanced excel tutorial and we are using Excel 2019 for the demonstration. Lets learn how we can hide rows one by one by clicking a button in excel. There will be two section in this tutorial. In the first section we are going to create a button and in the second section we will assign macro to that button.

Section 1: In this section we are gong to design our hide row button
Step 1: Click on "Insert"
Step 2: Click On "Shapes"
Step 3: Write the Button name and design the button according to your choice

Section 2: In this section we are going to assign macro to our hide row button.

Step 3: Click "Insert" and then "Module"

Step 5: Close the VBE (Visual basic editor)
Step 6: Right click on you button and select "Assign Macro"
Step 7: Select Hide Row from the macro list and click OK
Done. Now whenever you click on your hide button its gonna hide the next row.
