BCRs: A new approach to international transfers

Описание: The BCR seminar will cover our revised approach to UK BCR approvals and will set out where the ICO will place its focus when reviewing the BCR documentation. The ICO will provide further clarity on why there is emphasis and focus placed on certain elements and formalities of Article 47 UK GDPR and the importance of ensuring that rights for data subjects remain effective and enforceable within the UK legal framework now that the UK is now longer part of the EU process. Attendees will get the opportunity to ask questions, to debate and discuss the importance for organisations to assure data subjects and the ICO that their privacy programs and accountability frameworks align in practice to the BCR documentation and that high standards around data protection remain.
