In today's vlog I reunite with a friend who I haven't seen since our adventures in Nagoro "Scarecrow" Village and head off to Yamadera to see Risshaku-ji. We then returned to Yamagata City to check-in to our hotel, had an evening stroll at Momiji Park, had some burgers, and then called it a night. The next morning, we walked over to Yamagata Folk Museum Bunshokan, and then took the afternoon bus to Ginzan Onsen. There is something for everyone here (onsens, footbaths, shops, restaurants, etc.) and if that isn't your thing you can also enjoy a more naturey/culturey atmosphere as well (Shosui Koguchi, Shirogane Falls, Kishimojin). Ofc if you prefer a more off beaten path, you can follow Senshin Gorge upstream until you reach the mysterious Silve Mine Cave!
*Make sure you line up early for the bus because they will cut people off when they are full. On your return, try lining up for the 2nd or 3rd to last bus because you want a guaranteed ride home! The taxi fare won't be cheap...
