chana masala or chole masala or also known as chickpeas masala is an subcontinent recipe famously eaten in India and Pakistan. It is made with boiled chana or chickpea and blend of spices.

Ingredients
boiled chickpea/chana 1 cup
oil 2-3 tbs
clove/laung 3-4
bay leaf/tej pata 1
cumin/jeera 1tbs
onion 2 medium
tomato 2 medium
green chilies 1 tbs
ginger-garlic paste 1 tbs
salt 1-1.5 tbs
turmeric/haldi 1tbs
coriander/dhaniya powder 1tbs
garam masala 1 tbs
red chili powder 0.5 tbs
kitchen king powder 1 tbs
fenugreek/ kasuri methi 1tbs
optional
cottage cheese/ paneer
Directions
1. Add oil to the pan and add cumin/jeera, bay leaf/tej pata, clove/laung and ginger garlic paste.
2. Add onion and cook till its golden brown and add tomatoes and green chilies.
3. Now, add the species like salt, turmeric/haldi, coriander/ dhania powder, garam masala.
4. Add boiled chickpea/chana and water and further, cook it on medium flame for 10-15 minutes.
5. Add some paneer or cottage cheese chunks and again cook on medium flame for 10-15 minutes.
6. Lastly, add some fenugreek/ kasuri methi and garnish it with some coriander leaves
