Описание: Hazmat Tanker Rolls Over in the Desert! At least this one wasn't a 3 day nightmare fiasco like the lithium battery job. In fact, this was very tame considering what could have happened. Fire department cleared this as safe to work, then took off so Alex and Dave can handle with rotator power. Dave's rotator is a 40ton, and Big Flipper of course is a massive 75ton rotator.

This job was FAR considering we're in LA and this was the desert. First step Alex did was pick and swing the rear of the tanker back to a more level position. Second step was easy on paper, but proved to be difficult in separating the tractor from the tanker. Normally we bring them up together, but because this 2 lane highway was small, they made the call to do it separately. The 5th wheel was air controlled and would not release from the cab so they ran an air line directly to it.

From here, it's classic Pepe's finesse. Tractor came over first then pulled up out of the way. Next was the heavy tanker. Alex's Massload wireless load cell was reading 19,000lbs on just ONE line. Realistically he was seeing just under 40,000lbs, and Dave was seeing the same. They even managed to let traffic through that was building up.
