Robinson basically had the green light all night with Crawford (bruised right hand), Curry (sore right knee) and Randolph (sore right foot) missing.

The 5-9 guard scored 22 in the third quarter alone, including a three-pointer at 6:22 to give the Knicks their first lead of the game, 71-70.

"He was making things happen and he was keeping us in the game," Thomas said. "I thought the pressure he kept applying was great.

"We ran out of gas, I think, in the overtime."

Brandon Roy: He played a great game, it was fun to compete against him. Every time we get a chance to play against one another its always fun, Roy said. We didnt want him to have a night like he did tonight, but hey, we got the win, so I got the overall bragging rights.
