এবারের দ্বাদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনে ভোট দিতে পারবেন প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিরাও। নির্বাচন কমিশনের পক্ষ থেকে এ ব্যাপারে প্রয়োজনীয় নির্দেশনা দেওয়া হয়েছে। নির্বাচন কমিশনের নির্দেশনায় বলা হয়েছে, জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনে পোস্টাল ব্যালটের মাধ্যমে ভোট দিতে পারবেন প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিরা। এজন্য আগামী ১৫ দিনের মধ্যে প্রবাসীদের নিজ নিজ এলাকার সংশ্লিষ্ট রিটার্নিং অফিসারের কাছে আবেদন করতে হবে।

Expatriate Bangladeshis can also vote in the 12th National Parliament elections this year. Necessary instructions have been given in this regard by the Election Commission. According to the instructions of the Election Commission, expatriate Bangladeshis can vote through postal ballot in the national parliament elections. For this reason, the expatriates have to apply to the concerned returning officers of their respective areas within the next 15 days.
