I WENT ON MY FIRST EVER SOLO TRIP!!!

Yes, you read that right. I took off late last month on my first ever solo trip. I have visited places solo before but it was always for some purpose or work. Never for a vacation. I had applied for my Schengen visa for the second time recently (I’ll make a proper video all about it, very soon) and I decided to go to Budapest for my first ever solo trip as I heard it’s quite safe for solo female travellers. After my trip, I definitely agree with that. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so safe in any place before, especially to walk alone at night in the heart of the city.

I spend 4-5 days in Budapest and still couldn’t do everything that I wanted to. That is how much there is to do in Budapest. Anyway, I have a reason to go back now. 😁

Did you know Budapest is made of Buda and Pest separated by the river Danube? I went on two free walking tours and learnt so much about the city and its history.
I tried the famous Langos which is sort of like the Indian poori.
I also tried a shot of Palinka, the strongest of all spirits if I’m not wrong.
I learnt that the Hungarian language is the third most difficult language in the world after Mandarin and Arabic.
I went to my first ever ruin bar, which was beautiful.
I learnt that the Hungarians eat pretty much most of their food with sour cream and cheese.
I went on one of the top ten beautiful rides in the world recognised by the National Geographic and to the most beautiful cafe in the world.
