Travel Switzerland in 4 Days II Grindelwald, Murren, Lauterbrunnen, and The Top of Europe

Описание: Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. I spent four days traveling through the Jungfrau Region and exploring the beauty of Lauterbrunnen, the mountain of Murren, and so much more.

The best part of the Jungfrau Region is you can get anywhere with trains. I mean anywhere.

I spent the four days based out of Murren. Which is an incredible little town with no cars and only accessible by gondola. The first day we hung out in Murren, did some hiking up the mountain and went into Lauterbrunnen and Wengen for drinks and dinner. The hiking is out of this world and the towns are so cute with the absolute best food.

The second day I took the trains to the top of Europe. It took about 2 hours to get to the top, but wow it was worth it. The ice cave is so unquie and being ontop of a glacier is just a surreal experience. I highly recommend.

Day three, which was my favorite day was spent in Grindelwald. An amazing town with fantastic fondue. The best part was First mountain. There is so many fun things to do beyond hiking.

Day four was heading over to Iseltwald and taking in the amazingly blue water.

I made an itinerary for one of my friends. It doesn't match the video exactly, but I think it provides great value and could really help you enjoy your trip.

Day 1: Arrive. If you want to go Canyoning (See my one minute YouTube video on it)    • Canyoning, Interlaken Switzerland   then go through Outdoor Interlaken https://outdoor.ch/en . They speak English, super cool, and it was such a crazy awesome experience. Also they offer a ton of other things you may be into.

OR

You can go paragliding. I have yet to do it but there are two main areas where you can do. The first is in Interlaken and they’ll take you to the top of Harder Kulm (Great view of Interlaken). I think it would be cool but it's very open because you’re essentially gliding over a town. The other option is to do it in Lauterbrunnen/Murren I recommend this choice because you will literally glide through a mountainous valley. Just seems cooler to me.

OR

If you can’t work either of those options I suggest going to Harder Kulm. It’s a restaurant at the top of the Mountain that over looks Interlaken. I did a hiking video using Harder Kulm as the basecamp and it was the greatest hike I’ve ever been on. But that’s like a 6-8 hour hike.    • The best hike in Switzerland   II   Harder...  

Day 2: Top of Europe. It takes like two hours to get to the top but its so worth it. You’ll go through Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Kleine Scheidegg, and then finally the Top. The trip is just as cool as the top. This will probably take you around 6-8 hours if you take your time and don’t rush it. Get the app, it will make your life a 1000x times easier. Literally called Jungfrau and has a sun and mountains as a logo.

Day 3: Grindelwald / Grindelwald-First. THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE THING TO DO. I did all caps to make a point. The whole experience is amazing. You’ll take the train to Grindelwald, spend like 30-60 minutes poking around the town, its very cute. But you want to spend your time on the mountain. Take the Gondola to the top (DO NOT HIKE UP). When you’re at the top, you’ll either be greeted by goats or cows. There is a restaurant/view center at the top. Check out the view, then start the hike to Bachalpsee. I never made the hike but I’ve heard its amazing.

When you hike back do the First Cliff Walk (in the video), its super cool. Now you have a few decisions to make. How will you get down? You could hike down ORRRR go down the fun way. See the website it does a better way describing it, but you can take the First Flyer, First Glider, First Mountain Cart and First Trottibike. We hiked and did the Cart and Trottibike. At the end reward yourself with cheese fondue in Grindelwald.

Day 4: Murren/ Schilthorn. This is your opportunity to see the cutest town in the world. You can only get to Murren by gondola and train. You’ll love it. Its basically a single street that runs along the edge of the mountain. Anyways hangout in the town for a little then make the hike up tp Schilthorn. You could pay 60 euros to take a gondola from Murren to the top, but this is one of times you want to hike it. I don’t want you to get confused, you have to take a gondola/train to Murren but once you are in Murren you can take another Gondola to the tippy top. Do the hike (3+ hours) its worth it.
