In today's video, I talk about some reasons why you should explore a soft or flex nib and some reasons why not to.
For full transparency, I use normal "hard" fountain pen nibs on an everyday basis, and rarely do I reach out for a pen with a soft/flex nib except when I feel the urge to. These pens have varying degrees of softness and some "flex" even when I don't intend to - perhaps because I do not have the required pen control to vary the pressure - it is not an easy skill by the way!
