Niko Digital typing here. This was a project we've worked on for several months now, and we are very proud of what we have made here. Now, here is our timeline for THX Galactic:

In around 2002, THX was bought from Lucasfilm by Creative Labs, and the trailer was re-used yet again for the 2005 premiere of Revenge of the Sith, but because THX was no longer owned by Lucasfilm, they had to do major modifications to the trailer since they were not allowed to associate the trailer with Star Wars anymore. The trailer would be renamed "Science of Sensation", all the Star Wars references are removed, and the sound design had to be remixed without the Star Wars sounds. The CGI for the logo was also starting to age, so they decided to re-render the logo to take advantage of current technology at the time and show the capabilities of digital cinema projection, with an enhanced intro featuring the beginning of Science, a new THX logo which is much more shiny, and a "Certified *Format*" byline to replace the Lucasfilm byline. This trailer was now meant for any Sci-Fi movie that is THX-certified, not just Star Wars, and was used on Sci-Fi releases all the way up to 2010, when the trailer was finally discontinued. This trailer also appeared in games as well. Since this trailer replaces "Science of Sensation" in this timeline, and it was used for Sci-Fi movies and games only, Cavalcade would still be used elsewhere instead.
