Raw Mango Jam / Aam ka Jam
Preparation Time – 10 minutes
Ingredients -
Raw mango -1
Sugar – 1 cup (can increase or decrease according to taste)
Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
Procedure
Wash the raw mango and wipe it dry & grate the mango.
Into a pan add the grated mango and sugar. As the sugar starts melting add turmeric and cook on medium heat.
Check for the consistency of the jam if required cook for 1 or 2 more mins.
Cool and store in an airtight container. Serve with bread, chapathi, paratha,dosa etc.
Tips & Tricks
Can add pinch of salt.
Add sugar according to your taste and as per the sweetness of mango.
Can also add seasoning if you wish to like(red chilli powder, black salt, chat masala, pepper…. etc)
For more flavours can add powders like cardamom, cinnamon, dry ginger
Storing in refrigerator increases its shelf life.
Don't add water.
