Arthur catches Tilly and Karen debating over what's righting wrong with Arthur backing Tilly to a degree before speaking to Trelawny who asks him to come to Rhodes to speak to a teller at the post office, who will be able to provide Arthur with tips about stagecoaches worth stealing.
En route to Rhodes, Trelawny says he had shares in a gold mining company until the run-in with the law and warns Arthur to be careful around the Grays and Braithwates as they enter the post office, where Trelawny starts a conversation with the teller, Alden.
After a bit of small talk, Arthur gives him some money in exchange for information on a stagecoach which is due to come through Siltwater Strand. Before the pair leave, Alden tells them that there is another clerk in Strawberry who is a member of the “discouraged men” association (as Trelawny calls it).
On their way to Siltwater Strand, Arthur makes known his apprehension on returning to Strawberry, considering the damage he caused there when he rescued Micah. Trelawny assures him that there should not be anyone left who would remember him, considering that nearly the whole town was massacred. He also comments on how popular the gang is becoming with all the trouble they have been causing, and believes they will all be dead soon enough. Arthur replies that he hopes they will all be free before that happens.
Once they reach the interception point, Trelawny decides to not rob the coach violently and tells Arthur to keep his guns holstered. He hands Arthur a lock breaker to open the strongbox in the back of the coach silently while he distracts an opera singer, Chester Damsen, and her driver.
They see the coach, and Trelawny rides up to it and convinces Damsen to sing to him while Arthur rides further behind to avoid being seen. While Damsen sings to Trelawny, Arthur silently opens the lockbox, seizes the money, and sneaks away. Trelawny joins him soon afterwards after the coach leaves, and the two share the take between them.
Arthur goes hunting and saves the snake bite guy's life again. Returning back to camp, Uncle tries to guess where Trelawny is from while Arthur asks him if he has anymore opera singers for him to rob and speaks to Bill who asks Arthur to rob a Boles Overland banking coach passing through the area west of Dewberry Creek. After mentioning they will need some female distraction, Arthur asks Tilly to come along. While riding to their destination, Bill and Tilly already begin arguing.
Upon arriving, Tilly becomes offended by one of Bill's comments and Bill decides to simply attack the coach by shooting at the guards, causing Tilly to ride off. After dealing with all guards, Arthur jumps onto the wagon in order to make it stop. The coach eventually comes to rest near the Oil Derrick in The Heartlands.
Upon realizing the side doors are locked, Arthur decides to blow them open and collects the take before splitting up. Arthur later puts down Bounty Hunters and heads back to camp to see Uncle try to bond with Charles to no avail, Bill on the other hand expresses worry that he may end up like his father who mixed his alcohol with moonshine.
