Valentine’s Day is on Saturday, and if you’re still working on getting flowers or candy, time is running out.
The National Retail Federation thinks Americans will spend $29 billion on Valentine’s Day gifts -- that’s a record amount.
And it looks like people are expecting some good gifts, with the average person budgeting $200.
Candy is still the favorite gift, followed by flowers, cards, a night out and jewelry. But we know Valentine’s Day is about more than gifts, so we had a conversation about strengthening your relationships.
Dr. Simran Chawa and Dr. Mansi Chawa, both psychiatrists at Henry Ford Medical Center in Troy, joined Local 4 Live to give relationship advice.
