Day 15 – The Grief Beneath It | 28-Day Self-Forgiveness Journey
Sometimes what looks like anger…
what sounds like bitterness…
what feels like numbness or self-sabotage…
is really just grief in disguise.
Grief for the time you lost.
Grief for the version of you that never got to exist.
Grief for the love you didn’t receive.
Grief for what should’ve been but never was.
And if you’re anything like me, you may have spent years saying,
“I’m just mad,”
“I’m just tired,”
“I’m just done,”
when the deeper truth was:
“I’m grieving… and I don’t know how to say it.”
In Day 15 of this 28-day self-forgiveness journey, we’re going underneath the anger, shame, and regret to gently name what’s really there: grief. Not just for what others did — but for what you missed, what you settled for, and what you didn’t know how to protect.
This episode is for the one who feels heavy but can’t quite explain why, who keeps moving forward but still feels something unhealed pulling on the inside.

“What am I really grieving underneath my anger, shame, or numbness — and what does that part of me need to hear today?”
Give yourself permission to name the losses:
the relationship, the childhood, the time, the opportunities, the version of you that never got to feel safe.
Because once you feel the grief beneath it,
you can finally start to free it.
