Solaro is a side-scrolling puzzle and adventure game that combines innovative gameplay and rich, detailed open world design. You awake deep in space, with no memory of your past, and must piece together a story of your origins as you learn to move across the galaxy. On the way, you encounter a quirky cast of characters, get involved in dangerous battles, and try to escape a dark calamity on the horizon.
Solaro's gameplay and world design are loosely inspired by real astrophysics. Using a common theme of orbital motion, 3 distinct gameplay modes are woven together to offer up a variety of challenges. At the center are a series of "orbital puzzles" that must be decoded and solved before entering the atmosphere of each new planet.
In Solaro you'll find a vast, delicately crafted open world to explore, with dozens of unique planets and solar systems. Colourful scenery, lush nature sounds, and an epic soundtrack accompany you on your journey of discovery. What untold secrets will you turn up, hiding in the far-flung ruins of this mysterious cosmos?
