Описание:
A free-standing, hand-operated level-crossing barrier manufactured in the 1880s. This is fitted with Südbahnwerk ringing apparatus for alerting pedestrian and road users of the barrier being lowered.
It was used in the Celje region until the 1950s and joined the collection of the Railway Museum of Slovenske Železnice after storage by the Signalling & Telecommunication Devices Service of Celje in 1989.
Sound: By operating the (adjustable) handle of the cog drive, the ringing apparatus is activated via a chain transmission. There is a special cogwheel causing the bell to ring via a vertical bar before and during the lowering of the barrier, but not when lifting.
