Trauma Healing Hip Opening Yoga Class | Root & Sacral Chakra Release
This 1 hour 40 minute all-level Hatha yoga class is the first of three pre–Lunar New Year practices, designed specifically for releasing stored tension and trauma from the body.
Accessible to all levels—with options to modify or deepen throughout—we focus deeply on the hips—working with the root and sacral chakras, where emotional residue and subconscious holding patterns often live. Through grounding centering, joint warm-ups, Kundalini Kriya inspired breathwork and flows, sun salutations, standing and seated hip-opening asanas, and guided relaxation, we intentionally create space for real release.
This practice is about making your mat a sanctuary. Using breath, focus, strength, and surrender, we help the body feel safe enough to let go of what it no longer needs to carry.
