The pretty village of Englishcombe lies to the south of Bath. There are no Old English charters for the village but there is ancient history here anyway. For a start the historic, ancient demilitarised zone of the Wansdyke can be seen in quite a nice, preserved state.
This is part one of two, so please join me on this little, but I think quite interesting, journey.
