The Root Chakra: (LAM )

The root chakra or the chakra of the earth or the base chakra, is the 1st Chakra in the 7 chakras system, located at the base of the spine, the colour is Red and the element is Earth. It is the foundation of our body like the roots of a tree, supporting the other six chakras. It relates to whatever grounds you to stability in your life, includes your basic survival needs such as food, water, shelter, material matters such as money, home as well as your more emotional needs relating to safety, trust yourself and self-confidence.

The Sacral Chakra: ( VAM )

Sacral Chakra or the sex chakra, is the 2nd chakra in the 7 chakras system, is located below the navel, at the centre of your lower belly; the colour is Orange and the element is Water, and is known for the centre of sexual energy, pleasure, creativity, intimacy, and connection.
The sacral chakra is associated with water. Water is flowing, purifying, and adaptive to changing environments. The sacral chakra can act in the same way, allowing you to let go, to move, and to feel the change and control the flow of information from the body to the mind and from the mind to the body.
Physically, the 2nd Chakra is associated with the kidneys and reproductive organs: ovaries, testes, and uterus. The ovaries responsible for sexual development and producing eggs as well as controlling the levels of progesterone and oestrogen.

The Solar Plexus Chakra: ( RAM )

Solar Plexus Chakra or Manipura Chakra, is the 3rd Chakra in the 7 chakras system, located above your navel and below your sternum, the colour is yellow and the element is Fire. The Manipura chakra is the home of our personal power, ego, self-esteem, willpower, energy transformation, and life purpose.
Physically, the 3rd Chakra is associated with the central metabolic system, digestive system including stomach and intestines, nervous system, liver and pancreas. It controls our digestive system, the ability to digest food properly. The pancreas produces insulin which is a chemical substance that controls the amount of sugar in the blood.

The Heart Chakra: ( YAM )

Heart Chakra or Anahata, is the 4th Chakra in the 7 Chakras system, located in the centre of your chest, the colour is green and the element is air. This chakra is the centre of love, balance, and connection, and helps to shape your capacity for compassion, affection, trust and love.
Physically, the 4th Chakra governs the thymus gland and immune system, heart, lungs, breasts, arms, hands. Thymus gland procedures lymphocytes, control immune systems.

The Throat Chakra: ( HAM )

Throat Chakra or Visuddha Chakra, is the 5th Chakra in the 7 chakras system, located at the throat level, the colour is blue and the element is ether. It is responsible for communicating, self-expression and creatively.
Physically, the 5th chakra it governs shoulders, neck, throat, ears, and mouth, and thyroid gland. Thyroid gland secretes hormones that control your metabolism – a chemical process in your body converts food into useful energy and regulates the body’s temperature, so a sluggish thyroid will make you have cold hands and feet, constipation, fatigue, stomach bloating, low heart rate.

The Third Eye Chakra: ( OM )

Third eye chakra or Ajna Chakra or the brow chakra, is the 6th chakra in the 7 chakras system, located between the two eyebrows, the colour is either indigo/deep blue or purple, and the element is light. It is responsible for intuition, insight, imagination, awareness, and concentration.
If the brow chakra is purple, the crown chakra is white; if the brow chakra is indigo, the crown chakra is purple.
Physically, the 6th chakra it is connected to the eyes, nose, ears, brain, nervous system and controls the pituitary gland, pineal gland and the skeletal system. Pituitary gland is the master gland that produces hormones to control the growth and development of the body. The pineal gland controls your sleeping and waking patterns.

The Crown Chakra: ( AUM )

Crown Chakra or Sahasrara Chakra, is the 7th Chakra in the 7 main Chakras system, located at the top of the head, the colour is violet or white, and the element is thought. It is responsible for the transcendence of your limitations, awareness, deep understanding, joy, gratitude, union with higher self and divine, enables you to move beyond materialistic needs and to connect with the universe as a whole. It is responsible for consciousness, knowledge, spirituality, and fulfilment.
Physically, the 7th chakra it governs the central nervous system, pineal gland, pituitary gland, and skin. The pineal gland produces melatonin to affect the other glands in the endocrine system.
