OCAD University - Material Art & Design

Описание: Throughout history, people have formed metal, textiles and clay into objects that both support human activity and are expressive art forms. Just as relevant today, such objects enhance the built environment as well as the human body.

Material Art & Design at OCAD University offers two concentrations: Jewellery/Metalsmithing and Fibre. This curriculum allows students to work from either an art or design perspective, and is structured to provide the opportunity for students to achieve their creative potential through the development of concept, visual language, technical skill and personal expression. Historical and cultural contexts are integrated into the learning process. A number of courses in Ceramics are also available to Material Art and Design students.
