Frank Reich's career in football began with his stint at Maryland in the 1980s where he was a roommate with none other than Boomer Esiason for 3 years. On the heels of a legendary comeback against Miami in 1984, Reich began an NFL career where he backed up Jim Kelly in Buffalo from 1985 to 1994 before becoming the first QB in Carolina Panthers history in 1995.
Reich transitioned from playing to coaching becoming the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts from 2018 to 2022 and now is preparing to start his first year at the helm for the Carolina Panthers in the 2023 season.
