2005 Prius reset fuel level inclinometer

Описание: This procedure has to be completed on a level surface with outdoor air temperature between 70-90 deg and the fuel tank level should be between 1/4 and 3/4.

Step 1: Park on level surface

Step 2: Turn on the vehicle and verify that the odometer trip meter is on trip A

Step 3: Turn off the vehicle and open then close the driver door

Step 4: hold down the odometer trip button and press the power button two times without touching the brake pedal.

Step 5: After the power button is pressed two times release the odometer trip button and press the button three times. On the third button push, hold the odometer trip button down

Step 6: The odometer should add a sixth digit after five seconds of holding the odometer trip button. After the six digit is noticed the odometer trip button can be released.

Step 7: Press the odometer trip button and hold one more time for six seconds and odometer should change again and the button can be released again. The odometer should go back to trip A

Step 8: Power off the vehicle

A. Start car in Ready Mode
B. Go to "Trip A"
C. Power down
D. Make sure your foot is off of the
brake pedal.
E. Push in and hold the
“ODO/TRIP” button.
F. Turn the power switch ON
(push the “POWER” button twice).
G. Turn the “ODO/TRIP” button OFF,
then ON 3 times within 5 seconds.
H. Continue to hold the “ODO/TRIP”
button until the “ODO” indicator in
the display turns off and a 6–digit
code (######) is displayed.
I. Release the“ODO/TRIP” button.
J. Push and hold the “ODO/TRIP”
button for 5 seconds or more
again. The 6–digit code (######)
will then change to a 5–digit
code (#####).
K. After “1” is displayed at the 3rd
digit of the 5–digit code, release
the “ODO/TRIP” button.
L. Approximately 5 seconds after “1”
is displayed at the 3rd digit, the
“TRIP A” indicators are displayed,
and the odometer returns to the
normal operation.[/i]

NOTE:
�� The “TRIP A” mileage will revert to
0.0 miles in this procedure.
�� Do not drive the vehicle before the
reset procedure has been completed.
HINT:
If a write error occurs, start the
procedure again from the beginning.
