Arrma Kraton V6 EXB Diff Fail

Описание: This is what's left of my rear diff on my Arrma Kraton V6 EXB. I took it out for the first time after getting it last week. I took it on an open field as I'm a complete novice to RC Cars. I wanted to take it easy, which is exactly what I did.

I noticed after about 25 minutes that the front wheels were spinning 90% more than the rear wheels. Not having any experience, I thought this was normal. It wasn't until I got home and started giving it a quick clean before a full valet, that when I spun the wheels to get any water out that the two rear wheels were not spinning.

I thought this is those pesky pins in the diff, they have snapped. So on disassembly I came across what can only be described as terrible workmanship from the factory. Zero diff oil, shards of metal, and gears that have twisted, and embedded themselves into the plastic housing.

I have watched the videos, and read the horror stories of just how bad the diffs are on the Arrma Kraton's, and this just goes to prove they were all right.

I was in the process of upgrading all the diffs. I have bought three new Arrma 29mm Aluminium Diff housings, shims, and diff oil, to do a full upgrade, but by the looks of it I need new gears.

I pray the model shop (who will remain nameless as its not thier fault) will send me out some new gear sets.

I am now going to inspect the rest of the diffs, in the hope they are all fine.
