Ohio. Breeder's shed. Raven gives birth to 6 puppies. Morning — they're taken away in a box to the market. She whimpers, watches the van disappear. Starts howling at night. Second day — chews through the lock and escapes following the scent.
4 km down the highway, Columbus market. Pups sold to different homes. Raven searches: barks at white fence (police catch her), digs under shed, 3 days without food, paws bleeding. Finds 3 puppies at Marcus's green house.
Lies at the gate 1 night. Marcus calls shelter — learns her story. Opens the gate. Pups squeal, rush to mom. Elena's tears, Marcus turns away. Other owners return the rest.
